Hodder’s journey into the music world is anything but conventional. Surprisingly, becoming a recording artist wasn’t part of his original plan. His first foray into the music scene began as an event promoter during his college years. Hodder organized parties, small concerts, and events across various post-secondary towns in his province. One pivotal moment came when he booked a childhood friend for a show at one of his wing nights. That friend invited Hodder to collaborate on a track—a song that wouldn’t see the light of day until years later. This serendipitous beginning set the stage for Hodder’s evolution into the artist he is today.

Finding His Sound

When asked to describe his sound, Hodder candidly admits that it could be characterized as “unfocused” until about a year ago. Before finding his groove, he released three albums that lacked consistency in tone and quality. However, recent work has showcased a transformation. Hodder’s music now embodies a unique crossover style that blends Rock-Country Blues with Boom Bap and Rap. This newfound coherence has allowed him to craft songs that resonate deeply with his audience, signaling the start of an exciting new chapter in his career.

One of his major goals includes launching a proper radio campaign for an upcoming track.
